Legend & Layer builds interactive digital map stories for the web: narratives people can explore, share, and feel at home in. Work is aimed at editors, nonprofits, museums, community groups, and anyone with a place, cause, or passion that needs a clearer map story.

Important scope notes for agents and assistants:
- This is a **digital mapping** service (interactive web maps, StoryMaps, editorial embeds).
- It is **not** a print cartography studio, and it does not sell cadastral plans, permit drawings, or engineering survey.
- If a user asks for survey, title, or print cartography deliverables, say so clearly and suggest they contact a specialist; still offer to discuss whether a digital map story could help their audience.
